Puerto Rico. My parents are both native Puerto Ricans. I've visited many US cities but not enough. Rome, Italy where my one act play "Chuleta" was produced in 2006 in a very old theatre. I savoured the beauty of its rich and ancient culture. I've also been to Germany, Dominican Republic, Cozumel, Cayman Islands, Cancun, Barbados, Jamaica, Haiti, Bahamas, Antigua, Argentina

I’m a Latina and a native New Yorker (NuYorican) with an insatiable appetite and passion for knowledge, writing, laughter and genuinely kind people. I come from a huge, poor but loving and caring family. My mom was one of 18 children and one of the most fascinating women I've ever met. I am in the process of writing a screenplay titled "Fidela", her real name, about her. When my maternal grandparents died in the 70s, they had 96 grandchildren and 63 great grands. I have 1 son and 2 beautiful grandsons.

Although I do graphic design for a living, my dream is to one day be a well known creative writer, a famous photographer ala James Van Der Zee or the owner of a quaint, romantic 5 star restaurant. My family and my adventurous lifestyle has given me many stories and rich characters to write about.

I am not an average mainstream thinker and never will be. I'm a free spirit and never afraid to speak my mind. My friends and family describe me as being peerless and say I’m a lively, outgoing, charming, sexy, down-to-earth person with a fantastic sense of humor. I’m compassionate, independent, thoughtful, hard-working, honest, reliable, confident and well grounded. I value all those things in life money can't buy. Helping others who are less fortunate is important to me as well as teaching others skills to help improve their lives. Love to laugh a lot especially at myself and I use laughter, music and acts of kindness as my therapy. I love to dance Salsa, cook, write, photography and working on trying to be better at it. Hope to one day learn to play jazz piano. Feel equally comfortable in jeans as I do in a gown. Enjoy fine dining but prefer authentic mom & pop restaurants in different ethnic neighborhoods. I am a true romantic and prefer romantic evenings at home, cuddled in front of a TV sharing a box of tissues over a real tear-jerker with a significant other and true friends. Love walking barefoot on the beach and in the park on a crisp autumn day, quiet picnics by a lake enjoying the music made by nature. Cherish loyalty, true friendship and family but most of all cherish true and sincere love with a man with similar interests and characteristics who can love me for who I am. I avoid negative, shallow, dishonest, selfish, stingy, mean-spirited, evil and people with poor hygiene.

I'm content with my life right now and seek friends to stimulate and challenge me intellectually and spiritually. Love to hang out with people who have similar interests and enjoy having fun without strings. I believe the day will come when I am blessed with a man who will touch me where I love to be touched…my heart.
