Well, it is going to be 2008 before I know it.  What will that year bring?  I am blessed to still have my Mother who is 91 years young.  My Father died 3 years ago at the age of 95.  I have longevity in both sides of my family.  Mom had a great aunt who died at 105 years old in 1971.  She remembered the carpet baggers as they came thru Alabama.  My Dad had an aunt who lived to 103 who died in 2002.

I enjoy learning about the past doing genalogy on my family. I have cross stitch and crotched in the past.  Now  I spend most of my time between my Mother and our 4 grandchildren.

We have a group of 12 other friends that have travelled as a group to Gatlinburg for the last 12 year.  We have all worked with Red Cross and still enjoy telling stories that happened during the many years that we worked together. 

So I look forward to spending time with family, old friends and also making new friends.
