I retired from the Massachusetts public sector (PS) in 2007. I had worked as a teacher of K-12 and college, as an IT professional for 25 years, and as a Library Media Specialist and Librarian. During my last two PS jobs I coordinated IT education projects for teachers state-wide. I am currently a freelance consultant in IT education and I am also freelancing part time for a national engineering firm. My wife and I have lived in rural Amherst for over two decades. Both our children attended the Amherst public schools, completed college, and now work in big cities in the northeast. We visit them as often as possible and they return home for the holidays.
