More about me

I live in the western suburbs of Pittsburgh.  I've been married to a wonderful guy for 28 years after meeting on a blind date!  We have two grown sons, one who resides in Phoenix and one who attends college in PA.  I have worked a lot of jobs over the years and recently was "downsized" from my position as a Technical Recruiter.  This is giving me the opportunity to work on my freelance writing.  I have been writing greeting card verses for the past six years and my specialty is humorous verse.  Companies supply me with artwork and/or photographs and I write the captions.  I enjoy spending time with our friends, playing Scrabble (it's the "word" thing again) and traveling.  I like to visit my son in AZ.  For our 25th anniverary, my husband surprised me with a vow renewal trip on the beach in Aruba.  For my 50th he took me to Paris!  My life has been blessed with good family and good friends and I am feel fortunate and grateful for all.
