Ol'Philly gal here now in Florida to be close to my family! I've traveled most of the Caribbean & Mexico and if I ran away from home, that's where I'd go. New York City so many times and is an all-time favorite, all the way to Portland Oregon to my brother's. Dream of Europe and Israel and crave the Far East, especially China.

I find a little of "me" each day. 

I am the well-grounded dreamer, the extravagant miser, the social hermit, the wealthy pauper, the idiot savant, the celebate whore. 

I dream of foreign lands and cultures yet find contentment in my home surrounded by family, friends and special things.  I am able to surrender myself to the beauty of the moment, to the simple joy of feeling the sun and wind against my skin.  I am finding peace, shedding remnants of past sorrows, accepting losses, and allowing my soul to flourish.

Activities
CRAZY about reading & book collecting! Just moved from a house to an apartment almost half the size, so condensing is a must, but I gave up furniture rather than my books. Cruising, fishing, snorkling, making sand castles on the beach...anything involving water...a true Pisces. My passions are my Grandsons. Ages 3 & 6, they keep me running, laughing and so enjoying life!

The Salvation Army, I give what ever I can, even if, at times. it's only my prayers.
Favorite Music
Big Band, light jazz, swoon over Pavarotti and Pink Floyd. Enjoy a little country, sing in the shower with Joplin & Bette Midler and now with the help of my Grandsons, know all the words to Sesame Street!

Any & all of the "Law & Order", "CSI'S", Lost, History & Discovery Channels, the Iron Chef (how can they think up so many things to do with spinach!?)World & Local News.

Depends on the mood....if I need a good cry, Bridges of Madison County. ...need a good escape, Star Wars. Enjoy "old" classics...Bogart, Jimmy Stewart, Gene Kelly, Alfred Hitchcock...

Could never cover in a mere 800 words! Favorite authors: Hemingway, Patterson, von Lustbader, Kellerman, Deaver, Rice, Wilde, Pat Conroy.....Russian, Greek, Classics, OK, very few I DON'T like!
