Sacramento area is where I grew up. I've lived in Half Moon Bay, El Granada, Gridley (Kiwi capital of the US), and Oroville, all in Northern California. In Utah, I have lived in Helper, Price, Pleasant Grove, Orem, Salt Lake City and Provo. I had a job traveling doing Marketing Research and have worked in most of the states within the United States, except the Northeast part. The cities that we interviewed in most often were Dallas and Chicago. I have vacationed in Hawaii several times, as well as New York City, San Francisco, Phoenix, Tombstone and Houston.

More about me

I am a "young" 59 year old woman. I have 3 sons and 1 daughter, all grown up. I have 6 grandchildren, that I don't get to see as often as I would like. One of my sons lives in Salt Lake City and one lives in Bakersfield, CA.  My daughter lives in the same town that I do. I live in a small town in Utah (10,000) and I deal with "rednecks" just about every day. That is not a bad thing. Tell you what I would much rather have a "redneck" with me, than a computer genius, when my car breaks down !!

I love the beach and ocean and if I had the $$$ that is where I would be living. 

I work 5 hours a day for the local college in registration. I am also the student motivator and I love to laugh. The division I work in is sort of like applied technology schooling. I have seen many students that come in very quiet, shy, and it is wonderful to see them blossom and find out they like going to school. Then at night I clean a government building.  Not too much fun but those bills have to be paid somehow.  I don't have a lot of time to socialize "in real life", but on the computer is a different story!

 

 

Activities

I love to cook and am not afraid to try new recipes. I have about 10 cookbooks that I have complied and thousands of recipes. I write poetry for my amusement.
