I grew up in Oklahoma City, so have always lived here expect for 3 years when I lived in LA, Ca. My family have been here since long before the land runs. So you could safely say that I am a born and bred Okie!! And proud of it. Go Sooners!!!

I am a retired hairstylist. I've had several careers, Real estate, Operator for SBC, Restaurants, Secretary, but the most important one was being a mother and wife. I lost my oldest son, 15 years ago, at the age of 25. My youngest son, Shawn, is now 30 with a wife and children and a mortgage!, I tell him welcome to adulthood. My husband and I used to drive over-the-road for trucking companies, it was a lot of fun and it could be stressful, also.  

 I am an avid gardner and I am looking forward to spring.  I like to play on the computer and watch some tv.   My dogs keep me busy also.  I spend time with my dad, who is 84 yrs. young and still has a good sense of humor.  We dicuss receipes and what we plan on cooking that day! He was a chef for 60 years, as was his Mom and Dad.
