Lived in KC and surrounding communities; (Des Moines) Iowa. Visits to (Notre Dame) Indiana; (Chicago) Illinois; (Elizabethtown & Nerinx) Kentucky; (New Orleans) Louisiana; (Biloxi) Mississippi; (Col.Spgs.) Colorado; but the best was Ireland and Scotland! (first time I saw the Atlantic Ocean)

More about me

I am content with quiet time at home, and spiritual chats with God are essential. I pray for His will and guidance in my life for all my needs. I enjoy being with my family & friends, reading or watching tv. In nice weather I love to sit on the patio with a good book, and enjoy the outdoors, but when KC turns cold I enjoy curling up with a blanket to watch snow and rainfall. Drives in the country are great, especially to see the colors of autumn or spring. I love walking on the Plaza where holidays and lights are my favorite time of year. I enjoy a wide variety of music, but definitely no hard rock or rap. I love being with my children and grandchildren whether we go out to eat, have a home bbq, order in pizza or Chinese, play at Worlds of Fun or Oceans of Fun, visit the library, go bowling or swing at the park. We love trips to the lake for swimming, boat-riding and lying in the sun. Some day I would love to travel, and would really enjoy a return trip to Ireland and Scotland where the rainbows are breathtaking. I also love the mountains of Colorado and the rolling hills of Kentucky.

Activities

Spending time with family, Cooking, Baking, Going to the movies or Starlight Theater, as well as concerts, Watching TV, Walking in the park or on the Plaza, Reading, Attendiing Church with occasional Bible-study group, Drives in the country, Swimming or Boating, Slow-Dancing, Hanging out at home, Crafts ie crochet and scrapbooks

Contemporary/Worship Christian radio or music CD's; "Oldies" from the 60's and 70's, Soft tranquil sounds of Celtic, Romance of Josh Groban, Classical songs of Sarah Brightman, Some of the newer country or classic rock, Someday hope to transfer old LP's to CD's

Favorite TV Shows

Movie Channels, NCIS, Sports: Nascar, football, basketball, favorite teams are MU Tigers and KU Jayhawks, but when they play each other...look out!
