Born & Raised on Long Island in NY. Graduated from SUNY Stony Brook in the mid '70s with an Educational/Psychology degree. Graduate work at SUC Potsdam and St. Lawrence University. Taught school for 7 years, followed by a stint with Tandy Corp (10 years), and, finally, became a financial advisor with a major brokerage firm... eventually formed my own group within that firm which was eventually bought out by a US based bank. Still active in the business, managing client portfolios for the bank that purchased my group. Married over 34 years, 4 children; 3 with families of their own & one, my "baby", still home with us. Along with my wife, I am starting to plan for an active semi-retirement in 15 years when our last child finishes college. Hoping to teach financial courses at the College level upon retirement, as well as see as much of the US as I can.

Antique Car Restorations, Classic Cars, Reading, Auto Detailing, Investments, Family Trips, Learning to play chess once again.

Favorite Charities

My wife & I sponsor multiple theater groups with annual "mini" grants. This is a followup to a great group of close friends I had while a teen during several years of plays we put on through a Church teen community group. They are forever in my Heart. My wife supports Foster Children groups & local PTA activities.
