I was raised in South eastern Iowa and graduated High School to join the Air Force. I have been to Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, South Korea, Thailand, Viet Nam, and Europe, W. Germany, France, and numerous free nations in the area. My two favorites have to be Thailand and Korea.

After my time in the military, I tried construction, landscaping, building care and maintenance, milling in factory, and ended up in the family business of shoe repair, sales and services. Afler nearly 14 years in the business the small shop almost failed and I headed to Arizona where I am currently working again in the Shoe Care business. My recent medical history has asthma attacks, stroke, and clogged arteries. Gee, I would think I would learn with 4 others in the family the same way.

I enjoy the outdoor activities like camping, walking, hiking, watching nature in its real habitat. I fish for recreation and enjoy bird watching.

I am an avid NASCAR fan and used to enjoy building racers for road races.

My favorite time of the year is mid fall. I like to lay out and watch the stars and night birds and such catch their prey. Maturity has slowed me down and calmed my youth finally.

 Back in the old state of Iowa, my oldest and youngest have given me grandchildren, My Daughter, Dawnetta, gave me one grandson and a granddaughter, while my son Jeremy and His wife Tawnya have given me two grandsons.  

 Being a grandparent shows me much of what I did that made for the happy family I have and enjoy today.

 

This last year I have had added two more grandchildren a granddaughter and another grandson.  The happy family is growing all the time.

12011, I have just seen my youngest 3 grandchildren, I spent one week being Loved, teased, beaten and had so much fun, I almost stayed In Iowa, except my health would not permit it. 

 I am really glad to rejoin Eons as I have missed the many friends I had on here.

 

I now work as a Leather care and Shoe Repair Technician.  It has been a passion of mine since my Grandfather taught me many of the cares and handlings of the industry.  Total time as a specialist is now 21 years.  I will answer Q's any one asks me.
