Places I've been

Lived in Seattle for the longest, then moved to Northeast Mississippi. I lived there for 13 years, then came back to Washington, this time settling in Bellingham, a most beautiful place. I've traveled all over the US visiting and for various conferences. Hope to travel more in the near future.

My kids tell me I'm ADHD - many projects going on at the same time, but they do get finished. At 62 taking medication for this condition is OUT of the question. Now it's a way of life that I'm okay with.

I love to draw, write, sing, and talk, and cook - not all in that order, but I do a lot of each. Love to laugh, but I'm a horrible joke teller. Football is my favorite watching sport, and I love to bowl and shoot pool. Fishing and being somewhere close to water are always winners with me. I never tire of watching a one of a kind sunrise and sunset. Most times around the house I have music going. I love gospel, jazz and old R&B. Sundays I go to church, and I try to play everyday (just a little).

Writing is a passion. My first book, Meet Me At The Cross, One Woman's Testimony,  is self-published and in it's second printing. I have just finished my second book (looking for an editor), and working on two more. As a minister, I am putting my sermons for the past seven years into a book also.

I don't drink or smoke. I found out years ago I could enjoy myself without either. Love to travel,  and hope to do more.

Activities

I seem to stay busy. My favorite activity would be churchwork in the form of street ministry. When I'm home music is usually on; gospel, jazz, some blues. I must have music while I'm writing, drawing or painting.

Favorite Music

My favorite music is gospel (choir). I love the old Jimmy smith, McGriff, Grant Green jazz, and the vocals of Nancy Wilson, Dakota Stanton, Dinah Washington.
