I was born and raised in Texas.

Became a military brat when my  Mom married a Navy Chief in 1956 He was stationed on the battle ship Iowa among others.

Graduated form carroll High School in Corpus Christi Texas in 1960.

Married in 1963 (still married to the same man)

We have three sons, and five grandchildren,  Three boys and two girls ages  form one year to fourteen years.

Hubby was in the military for 21years.  Retired from the Air Force in 1982.  Was stationed on the Aircraft Carrier Big "O" from 1964 to 1966

Mother is 88 wll be 89 in December is pretty healthy and has a wonderful memory and loves to go to casinos.

Lost my husband suddenly in July of '08.  Miss him like crazy but have been able to pick up my life and go on.

I love the oldies radio stations and listen to xm radion on direct tv.  The 50's 60's and 70s.  Love to travel and will be doing quite a bit of traveling this summer if I can get one of the older grandsons to house sit for me.
