More about me

I chose the name art girl because I love to work in several (purely amature) mediums; oil, chalk, pastels and charcoal. I worked till I was 50 as a secretary at several companies. Mostly were oil or chemical companies. I am now 66 years old and able to do just about anything I did at 50. I work outdoors a lot with landscaping my yard ( this has been going on for 35 years ). I still have ideas I would like to do. I laid a large brick patio this past I said, it's endless but I just love being outdoors. I have recently taken up digital photography with a rather expensive camera. I have a one day workshop to attend tomorrow in Houston, Texas to learn a little more about it. I love to take pictures of children and either draw or paint their portriat. I have been married to my highschool sweetheart for 48 years this February 27th. I have one son who is 48 in November and a daughter that will be 44 this August. I have two grandsons from my son and three grandsons from my daughter. Three greatgrandsons. Two of my grandsons are in the military. The older one 25yrs. is married and has one son and is in Kuait right now serving in Iraq for one term. My other grandson is in the army in Alaska and is getting out soon.

Activities

I told you all as above that I am into art, gardening, love to go to the Casino. Been 4 times with my daughter to Las Vegas for a mother's day gift from my daughter. I am a practicing Catholic and have been all my life. I enjoy being with my sisters and talk with them almost every day.

I like the old christian music, bluegrass and some country.

Grey's Anatomy, O'Riley Factor, All the ICS Detective shows.

murder mysteries, bible, art books and photography books.
