Places I've been

I lived in Colorado until I was 37. Woodland Park, Colorado Springs, Canon City, Pueblo, Denver, Englewood, and Littleton, then was in College Station, Texas for a few weeks before we decided that was a big mistake, then back to Colorado, then to Georgia. In Georgia I've lived in Marietta and Kennesaw. Now I am finally back home in Colorado after 13 years in Georgia and it feels great to be here!

About me....hmmm, well, it's ALL about me! (just kidding) I'm basically a happy shiny person. Divorced, no kids...no grand kids...I do have friends with kids though so I do get to be an "aunt."  I'm a transplant to Georgia from Colorado, but lately I've been hearing home calling me back....who knows, maybe that's my next big adventure. I've been here since 1995. Lot's of water under the bridge since then.

I work as an administrative assistant/office manager for a land surveying company. Scary times for any business associated with the housing industry....I've been with the company since 2000. I'm in the midst of making some life changes since I was recently diagnosed with type-2 diabetes. We've caught it at the beginning and hopefully,  I can be a good girl and make the changes I need to. That's what I get for not making those choices when I was a young fat girl...now I pay for it when I'm an older fat girl. Well, that's the "nut shell" version of me - now on to my favorite things......

digital photography and scrapbooking, most arts and crafts stuff, playing games on pogo, going to local festivals, sight seeing, living life and finding ways to be happy

smooth jazz - especially Jeff Lorber, Richard Elliot, & Brian Savage classic rock - especially Blue Oyster Cult, Steely Dan, & Allman Brothers R&B, Disco, Blues....

Favorite TV Shows

I watch the History channels, Court TV, National Geographic Channel...oh yeah, and cartoons, I love me some cartoons.

Favorite Movies

anything Hitchcock, old detective movies, old movies in general, but I guess my favorite movie would have to be The 10 Commandments....wait for it every year. my wacky side loves the Monty Python movies and Steve Martin
