More about me

I am the 44-year-old mother of three beautiful daughters; 20,18, and 15.  Allison is my oldest, Audrey my middle girl, and Madolyn is the youngest.

 

I recently moved from Dallas to Denison, Texas to be near Lake Texoma for sailing.  What a beautiful little town!  We sail nearly every weekend to improve our skills so that we will be ready to take on the intracoastal waterway in the next couple of years!  

 

I'm a court reporter and medical/legal transcriptionist.  I'm lucky enough to be able to work from home, which allows me a very flexible schedule so that I can pretty much come and go as I like.  When a perfect day comes up (as they do here in Texas) we can head out to the lake and take advantage of it.

 

I'm getting ready to head back to nursing school to graduate this time with a BA in nursing.

Activities

Sailing and anything outdoors. I read (mostly non-fiction) and bake at home.

Favorite Music

All types. I love 70's stuff and classic rock, but I'm a fan of classical and calypso as well! No rap or hip-hop though :)

We do not have television at home.

Oh, so many! I love a good drama. I also like A&E and PBS movies and documentaries.

Too many to count. I'm currently reading up on cruising on sailboats as this is a dream my partner and I share. I'm a fan too of Michael Faber's books and stories.
