More about me

I was born in Malawi which was formerly known as Nyasland, in 1955 and lived there until I was 9 years old.  My family left Nyasaland in 1964/65, just before the country gained it's independance, and we moved to England.  We lived in England from 1965 to 1967 and moved back to Africa to live in Rhodesia, which is now known as Zimbabwe, and lived there until 1975 when we again moved to live in South Africa.

  I have one brother who is married and living in California.

I married in 1992 to a Canadian fellow that I met here in South Africa.  We got married in Canada in a town called Swastika which is 8 hours north of Toronto.  I have  one daughter aged 14.

Just about everything - I try to move with the times, but 60's and 70's music is my favourite

Survivor, Amazing Race, Law and Order, Desperate Housewives.

First Wives Club, There's something about Mary, and maybe more that I can't think of right now!!!

Mostly Non Fiction - biographies etc.

My parents who died a month apart last year, my brother, husband and daughter.

My 3 Siamese cats; my fat tabby; my pet rabbit, chicken and her 2 chicks!!! Other than the aforementioned, I LOVE all animals.
