I've visited many states. I went to graduate school and worked in South Carolina and lived in Massachusettes for a short while for graduate studies. I worked in Florida and discovered that I loved the ocean there. After numerous travels discovered that "there is no place like home".

More about me

I am an African American, native to Tennesse, but have lived in Mass., South Carolina, & Florida. I am single and have two adult sons. I love to entertain, and travel.   I'll travel anywhere at anytime, without regard to the method of transportation.  Meeting new people is exciting to me, though I do enjoy "people watching". I love, love the holidays and enjoy decorating. I can cook, I mean old fashioned, too much butter and fat cooking, but have reluctanly changed a "few" of my southern recipes to be healthier. My house is usually bombarded with family and friends on Sunday afternoons in hopes that I decided to cook.  Old School music is still a passion. I love to watch pro football and I anxiously await college basketball season every year.  My career paths have always included children and the developmentally disabled. I take great pride in my African heritage and am always seeking opportunities to be involved and enrich my knowledge of my culture.  I hope to travel up the east coast this fall to see the autumn foliage and eat seafood for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Family and friends are very, very important to me and I consider myself Blessed to have them all.
