Favorite Movies
The Indiana Jones series, Zulu and Wind and the Lion.
Favorite TV Shows
The ones with good writing. Buffy, of course. Dark Angel, Alias, Millennium, Wonderfalls, Veronica Mars, Studio 60. Those are the ones I can confirm because I own them and watch them multiple times. I haven't picked up Voyageur yet, but I intend to. (I also own many other series, but they aren't as satisfying as the above.)
Activities
I walk the dogs for exercise. Too many other things going wrong to do much else. I also camp and travel as I can (I'm a little constrained since I still have a day job).
Favorite Charities
I don't have any because I don't believe that residents of the wealthiest economy in the world should rely upon charity. I pay my taxes and expect government to tend to the needy.
Favorite Music
Irish ballads.
Favorite Books
I read a lot and always have since I was a kid. But with the universe of good books being less constrained than the universe of good TV shows or movies, I rarely reread a book. And if you don't reread a book, how can you claim that it is your favorite?
Favorite Quotes
The words that stand out for me are Lincoln's Gettysburg Address and his Second Inaugural. Every time I'm in DC, I make sure to visit the Lincoln memorial late at night and stand there alone, in awe and re-read those documents.
Favorite People
You couldn't know most of them since they are family and friends. The public ones I've known and admired are few: Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Paul Krugman
