Places I've been

I haven't been to many places. I Joined the army to see the world, but they sent me to Miami. Almost like a foreign country. But.....the good thing was that I got to marry Wonder Woman (High School Sweetheart). After the military, WW and I moved to Orlando, where we've been ever since. Along the way, I've been up and down the Atlantic coast, out to Texas, New Orleans, Washington, D.C. (Played harmonica at the Kennedy Center) and all over the southeast.

52 year old Florida Cracker (born in Florida). Married to high school sweetheart for 32 years. 3 teenage kids, the oldest is in college. Since growing up in Florida, I've learned to get along with Yankees, Carpetbaggers, Pentacostals, Athiests, Democrats, Republicans, Patriots, Communists, Thick-skinned conversationalists, Thin-skinned whiners, back-woods survivalists, and big city urban cowboys.

I like to sit on New Smyrna Beach, by the jetties, and watch the ocean and talk to Wonder Woman. Maybe do a little bodysurfing. Frisbee tossing is fun too. I like to dive head first into the best swimming hole in Florida: Fanning Springs.

I like to play golf late in the day. Either with friends or all alone.

I consider myself conservative, politically. But not what I call a talk show conservative. You know, the kind of person who listens to talk radio every day, but couldn't tell you the name of their Congressman. I believe that our founding fathers were right: Smaller government, more personal responsibility.

Religion: Christian

I like to watch my kids participate in various activities: marching band, sports, etc.

I'm learning how to build and run a business. This is hard. But I feel it will be worth the effort. I sell the world's best air purifiers. There is nothing like them anywhere. (check out www.flaiaq.com)

The thought of retiring makes me ill. I can't believe someone would want to sit on their butt for 20 years. I'd rather die "on the job" (doing something worthwhile).
