Born and raised in England.  Came to New York in 1968 as a secretary.  Met and married my husband, just celebrated 40 years anniversary.  Retired four years ago as a school secretary for the NYC school system.  Had two daughters, one died in 1992 at age 22.  The other died in August this year.  She was 35 and had two heart transplants.

    hi marianne...the book series is awesome. she is an american writer and she had done so much research
    as well . there are 6 books to the series. the first one is called outlander by diana gabadon. i promise you
    it is a great read. i am on the third book now and they are hard to walk away from...nice to meet you
