More about me
I am 61 years old and retired.  My husband passed away this year, and I find myself identifying with other single people.  I loved my husband very much, but my life goes on here on earth, so I am trying to forge ahead and hopefully make some new friends to visit with and share lifes up and downs.
Activities
I enjoy being outdoors when the weather is nice; walking; reading; flea markets and auctions; pets; music; current events; Indiana University basketball; Colts football and several crafts.

Alzheimers Association and local Church projects
Favorite Music
I love music, and enjoy many different types. My favorites are soft rock, and gospel.
Favorite TV Shows
I like to watch several of the reality shows - like Survivor and Big Brother. Watch some news everyday, and follow the latest news stories.
Favorite Movies
I like the classics. A lot of the movies have gotten so raunchy, I don't enjoy them.
Favorite Books
I am an avid reader, and read everyday. My favorite books are non-fiction but I also enjoy a good novel. One of my favorite books is Undaunted Courage by Stephen Ambrose. I belong to an internet book club, and have a book coming or going almost all the time.

My family and friends are my favorite people.
