More about me—

I was born in August, 1946. POB: Sparta, Wisconsina small town near LaCrosse, Wisconsin. On paper I am 65, but I have tried to live, as Bryan Adams sings, “eighteen till I die”. I have retired twice: once from the military after 20 years in the U.S. Army; the second time from an aerospace company, McDonnellDouglas Corporation, (later, after the merger, Boeing) for a total of 21 years.

U.S.Army, Military Police-1965 to 1986

Served in Vietnam, 1966-1967 and 1968-1969

 McDonnell Douglas Corporation (Boeing) Industrial Security-1988 to 2009

I have a wonderful wife, Mary, who is from St. Louis, MO.

The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
Ecclesiastes 3:1–8.:

To everything there is a season, and time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
