i've traveled extensively and seen numerous countries as well as a variety of locations within the us. i'm a veteran of vietnam, born and raised in connecticut and lived here all of my life.

i am married and i am gay.  this is not the ideal position to be in, and i am struggling to come to grips with it.  because i recognize that i am gay, i know that i need to meet other gay people so i can better understand myself.  that, frankly, is one of the reasons for my joining this site.  it's only recently that i realized my need to spread out into the gay community for support and, hopefully, companionship. 

as for personality, etc. - i am a friendly, intelligent, nice guy who enjoys meeting others of a similar mien.  i have a wide variety of interests - love to travel, love music (r&b, jazz, gospel, and yes, some old rock when i hear it), i love to read, watch good television (my own definition, of course), movies, theater, and i love good food also.
