I WAS RAISED IN SARATOGA & LOS GATOS,CA. I LIVED IN SAN FRANCISCO WHEN 1ST MARRIED & NOW LIVE IN SAN CARLOS,CA. WHEN MY HUSBAND WAS ALIVE WE TRAVELED ALL OVER THIS COUNTRY AS WELL AS EUROPE. WE LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT.

I AM RETIRED FROM SEQUOIA HOSPITAL. MY HUSBAND PASSED AWAY 2 1/2 YEARS AGO. I HAVE 4 DAUGHTERS AND 5 GRANDCHILDREN. I'M LUCKY TO HAVE MY FAMILY CLOSE BY. I'M STILL ADJUSTING TO LIFE WITHOUT MY HUSBAND, BUT I'M GETTING THERE.

 

Activities

I am technically dysfunctional. I have never blogged and have no idea how to place a photo on this site. I love to read & belong to a local mystery book club. I have my exercise class twice a week. Love flowers, but have a black thumb, so watering is the extent of my gardening. One of my favorite activities is walking down woodland trails or watching the ocean waves roll in.

Favorite Charities

My favorite charity is the Salvation Army. I have seen 1st hand the wonderful things they achieve. I tried donating my time to the 2nd harvest food bank, but couldn't keep up with the physical work. Bad Back.

Favorite Music

I love all kinds of music, but I would say the Blues is my favorite.

Favorite TV Shows

CSI New York, NCIS, Friday Night Lights, Army Wives, Mad Men, Count down with Keith Olberman, Rachel Maddow show. 60 Minutes. Anyway I'm looking forward to the Fall selection of Medical Shows. I hope they don, t disappoint. Hey I just noticed I watch a lot of TV!!

Favorite Movies

Let me see, so many good movies to pick from. The Grapes of Wrath. Jaws. Steel Magnolias. Philadelphia.

Favorite Books

Gone with the wind.The Rainmaker and A Time to Kill both by Grisham. To Kill a Mockingbird. I love almost any book by Michael Connelly or Phillip Margolin.

Favorite people in my life at the moment. My daughters Sherri, Terri, Suzie & Tammy. My Grandchildren Greg, Ashley, Ali, MiMi & Ryder.

My home is my favorite. I love to visit Carmel, CA, Mendocino, CA. and Kuai.

I'm not fortunate enough to own an animal right now, but i love Cats. I love to watch (from a distance) Lions.
