Hey Folks.  To make this short and simple, I am a web developer. Retired from the rat race, I make my own hours, decide when to work and when to play; when I feel crafty, I paint, cross stitch, embroider, make jewelry (beading type) and watch the critters in my own backyard. And yes, I build webites. Not CMS sites or great big online shopping malls either.  I like to work with smaller companies and mostly have built websites for professionals.  Engineers, doctors, counselors, and folks who work from home, as I do.

Activities

Once you get to our age group this could be an endless list! I'm interested in everything from science, engineering, web development to crafts, gardening, reading, and to things I used to do but have no time for these days. re: camping, fishing, hiking, hunting.

Favorite Charities

The Lord's Diner in Wichita, KS. Feeding hungry families and especially children is a always a worthwhile endeavor. And believe it or not there are plenty of hungry folks in the U.S. Food is a basic need of life and helping to provide for those whose circumstances find them unable to feed their families is always worth our time and money. Favorite Music

OH Boy - this could take all day. As the time in my life had drifted along I've learned to appreciate all music. I favor rock and roll oldies and country oldies. Love some opera and Franz Shubert's classical romantic music. LOVE music!

Favorite TV Shows

Mostly the History Channel, TLC and Discovery, but also reruns of "Everbody Loves Ray" and MOVIES!

Favorite Movies

I have never understood this question. How can anyone have ONE or just a FEW favorites?

Favorite Books

Read a lot of biographies but for a genre I like mysteries and yes, horror as in Stephen King, Robin Cook, Patricia Cornwell. But love humorous books too as Janet Evanovich (Plum series) and series books in general. I read EVERYTHING, all the time.
