More about me

I traveled much inside the former USSR. When I was a schoolboy my father, he was a geologist, took me with him at the expedition to Siberia. During the summer vacations in High school I went several times with the Student construction Brigades to Kazakhstan and to Russian European North. For three years I worked as a chief of sanitary-epidemiological office in Taymyr Peninsula – the northernmost Asian part of Russia. Working as a specialist in preventive medicine and epidemiology I went on mission to Caucasus, Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Moldova, etc.

My wife, Galina, grew up in Tbilisi – the capital of Georgian Republic in Caucasus. We have been married for 32 years and we are like “twin souls”, because we have the same interests, same tastes and we are fond of traveling. She is a teacher at school. I have a 39-year-old son in my previous wedlock.
