My name is Jim. I am 62 and live in West Virginia. I have a day job, but I am getting closer to retirement. In retirement I will pursue a part-time business that will be fun but probably not profitable. The business will be devoted to woodcarving - including signs, musical instruments, and sculptures of trains, trucks, tractors, etc. I am pretty much into tools and woodworking. It's a good day for me when the shop machines are roaring, wood shavings are flying everywhere, and I'm covered in sawdust!
My wife is an elementary school teacher. We have two grown sons, two daughters-in-law, and one grandson. I am a Vietnam-era Army veteran. I have two wonderful non-human friends - Molly and Buford - yellow lab-mixes - brother and sister. They are gentle and kind and love everyone.
One of my purposes in joining Eons is to network, meet people, and develop new friendships. I am not sure I understand all the ins and outs of social networking, but I would be delighted to correspond with any Eons members out there so inclined. If you would like to trade experiences and viewpoints with me, it would be time well spent for me. Your story is very important!
For any who come by and view my profile, I wish for you peace, joy, harmony, satisfaction, and good outcomes in everything you do. Thank you.
