More about me

I am a bird lover, photography wise that is, and a quilt maker.  My main interest in the quilt world is landscape quilts.  I design my own quilts  some from my photographs, some from  my ideas or do you say imagination?   I have a quilt pattern company with about 25 different patterns for some of the quilts, table runners, wall hangings  etc.I make.  A lot of my quilts have birds in them, it fits, some are just scenic, and since i live near  Sisters Or. ,  we have lots of both, beautiful scenery and quilters making quilts.  I would rather not be tied to making patterns for most of the quilts I think up.  it takes the spontinaity and fun out of it to deal with details that i can put in a pattern.

Activities

landscape- art quilt making, photography, going to quilt shows, teaching others about my art, so they can do it too, a little dab of other artsy things, walking in the trails and woods of our area, with my camera of course.

Favorite Music

not much of a music fan, like some of the old, old stuff, lively enough to walk to.

Favorite TV Shows

Mostly whatever is on PBS

Favorite Places

Wherever there are wild birds, rivers, flowers etc.
