More about me: I was born in Michigan and moved to Calififonia when I was 4 than back to Michigan and at eight year old came to Arizona. I spent 5 years in Alabama and Texas when I was serving my Country via US Army. Worked at Brooke Army Medical Center and was there when they brought the first wave of Naval personnel in from the terrorist that bombed their carrier. I will NEVER forget what that was like.

I got out of Army and came back to Arizona where I went to Medical School. I recently retired and have become a naturalist. I absolutely love to photograph nature. I am however, still green and only by luck do I get a nice picture. hence the reason I am here and am so glad I found this spot!
Activities: I LOVE to fish, camp, hike, photograph nature [especially birds]
Favorite Charities: My favorite is ASPCA.
Favorite Music: All music, and depends on the mood I am in. Except when I have to drive, I need classical music then.
Favorite TV Shows: NCIS, BONES, FRINGE
Favorite Movies: Any Black & White horror flick!
Favorite Books: Just finished "The Darkest Evening of The Year" by Dean Koontz. Stephen King is a little "long-winded" for me now.
Favorite People: My Family and Friends.
Favorite Places: Home.
Favorite Animals: My three Labs and my Jack Russell mix.

I have been trying for a w tanager. keep seeing the female flit by, but this warbling vireo sits still so i can get it. A birder I met pointed it out to me

good job on the tanager. Did you get lots of other things too? I went out yesterday but got nothing but a butterfly on a columbine.
