More about me

I'm back in college after 30+ years away from school.  It's scary, challenging, and sometimes fun.

My family consists of a husband and 4 boys, 2 of which are going to the same college as me. 

My husband is a disabled retired Army SSG, and we have been stationed at Ft. Benning, GA; Heidelberg, Germany; and Ft. Riley, KS.  We had a pretty good life with the military, and sometimes miss it a great deal.

KC is my home now and sometimes I love it here, and sometimes I wish we could look forward to another city or fort we have to move to.  (After all the complaining I did in the military!)  But for the most part, my life has been pretty blessed. 

Steve died 20 Sep 2009.  I miss him. 

Favorite Animals

I think cats and horses are gorgeous, but don't want to take care of either. I like the (usually) friendliness of dogs, and will probably get one when I can finally get rid of all my kids.
