More about me

Single female who started her adult life as a chemical engineer working for Chevron.  Left after 22 years to teach at Oregon State University.  Taught for 2 years before recreating myself into a stained glass artist.  Have lived in Corvallis, OR for 9 years.

My sweet Cate, a rescued Shar Pei, passed on October 26, 2009 after being diagnosed with a lung tumor 6 weeks earlier.  I love dogs but have lost 3 in the last 4 years.  So hard...

Adopted another rescue dog...she is 8 month old shar pei/lab mix named Calie.  At least now I have the time and patience to work with a puppy.  She is a love bug with a strong prey drive.

I walk 2-3 miles every day, love to garden and read.  I have drastically improved my eating due to recent health issues.

I grew up in Illinois and went to Northwestern University.
