About Me
I've come to the conclusion that maturity is a gift.
At 60-something I can look around and see all the good things in this life; fresh fruit and vegetables available year-round, good roads, lots of entertainment choices, new ways to connect with people, automobiles that run for hundreds of thousands of miles (170,000 and counting on my Saturn), variable speed windshield wipers, wash-and-wear clothes, and on and on.
Yep, my glass is always half full.
True, I've reached a point in life where my children think they need to guide me on a safe path, but I can deal with that. When it gets too much, I tell them so and they back off.
True, my oldest grandchild will soon be old enough to register for the draft
And yes, my tired old bones complain when I push them too hard,
but I WOULDN'T trade anything I have to be younger.
