Shy,quiet at times,poetic,helpful,considerate of others,generous to a fault.I love family though I have so few of them left that that ones I do have are very special to me. I am a natural born redhead,part Irish and a (5th) of Scotch. Oh yeah, did I mention I have a rather quirky sense of humor at times? I am an enigma (as one of my published poems says).

Activities

I enjoy writing poetry and I am published in three journals which are distributed world wide.I enjoy reading, watching movies, listening to music, enjoy the mountains and the ocean, love the desert. I like fishing & camping and goofing on my computer. Also enjoy people watching when I am out and about town or on the road.

Favorite Music

The oldies, country, native american, celtic, rock. Also some classics.

Favorite TV Shows

Eureka, all the CSI's, especially CSI Miami and the one set in New York.Ghost Whisperer, Smallville. Also NSIC and now the new NCIS (actual cases). I also watch the news (local & national)everyday.

Favorite Movies

THEM!, War of the Worlds (the original)John Waynes' movies, The Fog, pretty much all the Godzilla movies and many other classic horror movies.Also enjoy a lot of the older musicals.Oh, and any sappy movies that make me cry. Also love musicals (the classic ones anyway).

Favorite Books

Am reading my way through Clive Cusslers books as present, the ones pertaining to Dirk Pitt, then will work on the others.

Favorite People

Me of course, no, just kidding.I truly love two cousins of mine who I had the pleasure of finally meeting late in my life and enjoy keeping in touch with them as often as I can via the internet and such.Just wish we could see each other more often in person.

Favorite Places

The desert, reminds me of family trips.Also love the ocean, the mountains, and pretty much anyplace in between.

Favorite Animals

Cats first, am a total cat person but also love dogs.I throughly love wolves, horses, some exotic varities of cattle, the really exotic breeds.I guess there is probably not too many animals I don't like, maybe just a few I don't mind looking at from a distance, a very very far distance.

Hi. I saw your message in Oregon group. Funny, when I read about your moving to upstate New York and lo and behold, I see you were from Hudson. I grew up in Albany and left when i was about 21 and went to California. Lived about 10 yrs in SF then went to Mexico for a few years then LA then SD back to Albany currently in Temecula. Moving to Portland area hopefully by August!
