I heard about this group, thought I would give it a try. Right now, though, I don't know how much I'll be able to look around. I teach riding and do trail rides and right now we're pretty busy. Come winter, though, I'll have plenty of time on my hands.

The ranch has been in my family for four generations, but it was getting tough to make a living out of it, so my parents started giving trail rides and the like.  My only brother was killed in Viet Nam, and my sister wasn't interested so I eventually bought her out when our folks left us the place.

My husband Jack was killed in an accident four years ago.  We have four kids, the youngest in his second year of college.  I've hired some high school kids and a farmhand to help with the work -- and there is always work on a ranch!  but with Jack and now the kids gone, it gets lonesome here come winter. 

I'll have plenty to keep me busy sunup to sundown, but evenings are quiet and there isn't much on television that I find entertaining.  

Active in church, read when I have time.  Love to cook, but there isn't much point unless someone is coming over.

So, if you send me a message, I can't guarantee how often I'll check  for it ... but once the snow flies, I'll be looking for someone to talk to!
