More about me

I am 49, with a 14 year old daughter still at home who just entered the 9th grade. I have 5 children total, 4 girls and 1 boy, 4 grands, 3 girls and 1 boy. I live and breathe and have my being in Jesus. He saved my life and now I work to help save others. I teach, preach and study the Bible. I go to work only because life dictates it, but I hope to someday be in fulltime ministry. Right now my "Mom" life revolves around my daughter & soccer and the hustle-bustle of getting one more teenager to young adulthood unscathed. I enjoy having grandchildren because they belong to my kids and I just get to love on them and the parents get to be the "meenies". I love that they run to me for help and I get to hug them and just explain why mommy had to yell or spank (and yes I think spanking is OK!) I am a selfmade Princess and have no intentions of retiring. My husband of 23 years went home ahead of me to heaven and it is the first time he ever got someplace before me. But he was late for his own funeral!!!

Activities

teaching Bible Study and preaching God's Word. Watching my daughter do her thing on the soccer field. Taxi-ing the "Girls Aloud" to school events.

Not a big T.V. watcher but House and Bones if I have the time.

Anything with John Wayne, (except the Shootist, he should have ended on a better note for sure.) "Rebecca" and most anything with Cary Grant.

The Bible, all Frank Peretti books, C. S. Lewis (My goal is to read them all before I get to meet him.)
