- Places I've been
-
I have been to 38 of the 50 U.S. states. I spent 13 weeks in Japan, checking out the temples in Kyoto, bowled on the 3rd (or 4th?) floor in a high-rise bowling alley, shot golf balls off a skyscaper (into a net), and road on the magnetic speed train. I have been to the Bahamas a few times (different destinations each time), Cancun, and next is Puerto Rico. Other than that, I love where I live in Florida and sometimes miss the valley in California.

I love to write when I can. I enjoy all types of music except for too heavy metal and heavy duty rap. More of a traditional Rock N Roll kinda guy. Used to love to go to concerts, last one was when Billy Joel and Elton John were touring together. Actually, come to thinkof it, I went to see the 3 tenors since then.
I'm in sales and marketing. High-tech optical media. Used to play the trumpet and coronet (over 4 yrs) and still like to play one-handed piano (when no one is listening).
Old car enthusiast. I have a 1953 Ford Mainline I've been playing with for over a year. I restored a 1994 Nissan hard body truck and sent it to mybiz partner in Panama for his landscaping business and I have a '77 Ford F-100 short bed that I am working on more so than my '53.
I enjoy good books, stories, people, conversations, music, and movies in terms of entertainment.
I live on the West Coast (Tampa-side) of Florida. Love the sunshine and especially the fall season. Only 10 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico.
Drop me a line, I always enjoy meeting people from all over and various walks of life.
As my new friend jazzhappy says to me "You can never have too many friends." I totally agree, as long as they are truly friendly.

I like working in my yard, on my vehicles, and all sorts of other things Old Kids with ADD do. I even like skydiving, riding motorcross (Florida streets are too crazy for a lone biker in this area), tinkering on stuff, painting (auto and house), writing stories and/or movie scripts. Trading currencies, and working hard to stay ahead in life. This is an excerpt from 'Favorite Music' I took it from the end of that segment because I ran out of room (long winded as you can see) and placed it here. I actually used to have an Elvis collection, called it the Elvis bathroom. I put away my Hot Wheels collection for my son for when he gets his own home. They were in my home office.

Now, all of my music are the oldies. Even though I see some of my favs like Led Zeppelin, and others are popping up here and there. I like so much music from my favorite Rock N Roll, to more mellow Jimmy Buffett, (gotta mention Paul Simon "Graceland") and still find time to listen to 'elevator music.' Music, not muzak (however it's spelled). It really depends on my mood. I can't listen to the same song over and over like I did when I was a teenager. I have to have variety, used to be Garth Brooks, recently Toby Keith, still gotta have my Frank Sinatra Greatest Hits, and who doesn't like Elvis once in awhile?
- Favorite TV Shows
-
Depends on my mood. I usually only watch TV when I am tired from a good day's work and ready for mindless activity. I would rather attend a live game then watch it on TV. Depending on who's playing who, what race it is, and of course, the Holy Grail of Sports, the SuperBowl. Other than that, I flip through channels. I'll watch The Big Idea with Donny D on CNBC, catch the original CSI series once in awhile and am looking forward to Heroes coming back. Then, there was the LOST series that I started to get hooked on. I also like show that tell me how things were or are made, like on the History channel. I spend too much time watching History channel and other shows that show how things were
- Favorite Movies
-
The Usual Suspects comes to mind first. Recently, I rented NEXT with Nick Cage and was pleasantly surprised by the twists in the movie. CHAOS with Jason Statham was cool and different. I like movies that have a good script, a story to tell, and make you think after it's over. I just like, what I consider, a well executed script. Then there are the romance/comedies. Overboard with Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn, the Princess Bride (a classic favorite), Trading Places, GhostBusters, City Slickers. Too many too list in terms of favorites. Not because I don't want to leave anyone out or offend anyone, just too many movies to have to think about right now. I like good movies, I really enjoy great movies. What else can I say?
