More about me

I was born on an island in the far west where the dying sun goes to rest. I am mammal so I gave life to, and breast-fed, one offspring. Following the scent of testosterone-filled piss left on tree trunks, I toted my offspring on my back from that island to a jungle called USA. Then one day the scent wore off and I moved on, still toting the growing and heavy offspring. Along the way I met daffy ducks, mini-mice, woody-woodpeckers, lions and tigers and bears - oh dear!

To all those I met along the way I would like to say, if by chance I left paw prints on you, I was merely doing what I do best - survive. I licked my wounds to heal them - lick yours.

Now the rising sun finds me every morning in New Jersey and finds my offspring in a concrete jungle called NYC. The hunting here in NJ is not bad, but I'm addicted to foreign movies, Emily Dickinson's poems, scrabble, crossword puzzles and razors. Yes, razors. In times of stress I groom myself to relax - I shave off every hair on my body except my head. Not the head - Bob Marley wouldn't like that. Hail, Bob! One love!

Peace.

Oh, wait! I forgot to I mention my sense of humor . . .

"The middle region of the sky, wherein the spirit dwelleth, is radiant with the music of light; There, where the pure and white music blossoms, my Lord takes His delight. In the wondrous effulgence of each hair of His body, the brightness of millions of suns and of moons is lost. On that shore there is a city, where the rain of nectar pours and pours, and never ceases. Kabir says: "Come, O Dharmadas! and see my great Lord's Durbar." ~ Songs of Kabir
Say to them
Say to the down-keepers,
The sun-slappers,
The self-spoilers,
The harmony-hushers,
"Even if you are not ready for day, it cannot always be night."
You will be right.
For that is the hard home-run.
Live not for the battle won.
Live not for the-end-of-the-song.
Live in the along.
