i enjoy the ladies detective club series, anything by dean koonz, jeffrey archer. joined a book club to get me out of my comfort zone. one of the books was the red tent. very good read!

dolly parton because she is her own woman and is very successful because of/in spite of it.

Favorite Places

i loved bora bora, mykonos, bermuda, iceland, and africa. africa was awesome and totally different than what i expected. mykonos looks like all the pictures of the greek islands. all blue and whilte. bora bora is the most unspoiled and beautiful island. iceland only has 300, 000 people in the whole country, but lots of waterfalls and glaciers.

giraffes, giraffes, and giraffes. oh, yeah, and giraffes.

Favorite TV Shows

dancing with the stars, gray's anatomy, brothers and sisters, and desparate housewives.

Favorite Movies

since i see about 200 a year, it is hard to decide. some are chicago, moonstruck, brokeback mountain, crouching tiger, hidden dragon, mamma mia--movies that you can watch over and over

ysu, bgsu, and the cleveland film society.

country, zydeco. was a hard rocker in my earlier years and i still like the 70's groups.

Activities

i am trying to see as much of the world as i can. i am a big time film buff, love to read, knit, and garden. i belong to two red hat chapters (queen of one of them) and work out at curves.

i agree the buffet is a good idea-just not for me at this time. i am all about saving money, which is why i would have eaten too much at the buffet-trying to get my money's worth. when is the next queen's event??

we were in morgantown for the reunion. they picked a bad weekend because it was the same weekend that the college kids were coming back to school and their parents filled up the hotels and the streets.

Well, I had chosen the buffet cause I wanted somewhere with a private room and that wasn't going to cost too much. One place I like to go for lunch has a real nice room but if we had more than 25 people, they wanted to do a 2 entree buffet for $15+ and they were going to charge for the room too. I figured there they could eat anything from just salad to just dessert. LOL The next one being planned is supposed to be off the menu. I'm not doing that one.

I was at a family reunion this past weekend too and didn't make it to the RH RFaire. My reunion was over in PA. What part of WV were you in? My in laws live in Buckhannon. We will be going down there in September.
