Places I've been

I was born and grew up in a small place in the dunes close to the sea. Now I live about 10 miles from Amsterdam. From my apartment I have a great view on a very old castle! (See Video) I have travelled a lot, I've been to Germany, Belgium, Swiss, Austria, Italy, Spain and Greece. From England, Dubai and Kuwait I only walked around the airports. I have also spend many years in India, where I worked as a volunteer among the poor and needy. Those years were the hardest and the most beautiful and learn some years of my life! I adopted my daughter from an orphanage in India when she was almost 2 years old, I already had a son of 6 years old back then. Now both my children are happy grown-ups living their own lives! And I am free to go wherever I want!

Hmm… who am I… I am many things to many different people and that changes from day to day and depends on who you might ask.
Above all; I am a 55 year old mother of two grown up children. I am a writer and a poet, not necessarily at one time or in that order.

Activities

I have many interests, a few of them are; reading, especially Eastern and Western philosophy. I love art… and I like to draw. One of my other passions is dance, right now I am learning belly dance! It's exercise and a lot of fun at the same time!
