More about me: If you told me fifteen years ago that I would be an All American Master's Swimmer at sixty, I would have laughed out loud. Today, swimming has moved to the top of my list of things I must do every day (along with writing, playing the guitar, hugging Freddie and seeing my grandaughter.)

If I don't swim, I feel funky. My recommendation: Get wet and try it.

Favorite Movies: Millions, Brother Where Art Thow, Forrest Gump, The Titanic, The Razor's Edge, Harold and Maude, Happy Feet...Oh gosh, there are soooo many.
Favorite Books: OMG, it has to be authors here: Janet Fitch (White Oleander), Anne Proulx (everything), Annie Lamott (Rosie), Joan Didion, Alice Walker, Amy Tan, Alice Siebold, Flannery O'Conner, Barbara Kingsloer, oh yes, and don't forget...Nora Roberts, Healther Graham..AND a big high five for Patricia Cornwell. Do I have more room...Victor Hugo is huge-o.

Favorite People: My husband, my kids, my grandbaby, Shaelin, and...all my swimmer and knitter friends.

Hi Tina,

I don't do well in a lot of trivia here either, because I don't watch a lot of television. Although I did not do too shabby on the TV dads, I am sure it's because the shows are old and long gone oldies residing in television land. I also need faster fingers. (LOL)

I'm all for mutts. Human beings are good, culture is good, but when we start to draw lines around culture, sometimes that means we're trying to exclude others, which, if you'll forgive the addage, is 'bad.' In my opinion. I enjoy and appreciate others' culture. I hate to see it used as an excuse to keep others out.
