"born one morning when the sun didn't shine....picked up my shovel and walk to the mine." no  that's not quite right...  born just after  midnight on valentine's day., in cook county hospital, chicago, illinois. learned  to eat, dress myself,  tie my shoes, the rights and wrongs from my parents,  abc's  & 123's from my teachers, how to be a kid from my buddy, denny, aunts ,uncles and cousins, to ride a bike with my dad,'s assistance, enjoy the seasons & holidays, ride roller coasters ,  merry-go-rounds, ferris wheels, cotton candy,  streetcars, buses, steam and electric trains with my mom., be a brother, be a football  & basketball player, a good sport,  college student, a soldier, a civilian - citizen, a husband, a grandfather and now a retiree.
