Now that you are over 50, what are you doing that you never thought you would?

I am on my third marriage. I thought my first husband would be my lifetime partner but I lost him to lung cancer in 1991. Two of my boys were on their own but the last was only 15. I found I could be self sufficient but was lonely. My second husband was a bad choice and divorce was necessary. I am now with the best man I have ever met. We are true friends and partners. I also never thought I would be taking care of my invalid Mom but it is truly rewarding

Where were you born?

I was born in Escanaba, MI. I left there as soon as I graduated high school, went back for nursing school and a few years with my own family. I have moved around a lot as my children were growing up and find it is not possible to go back to live in Michigan again. Instead I have brought my mom to live with me in Colorado
