More about me

I'm working P/T and working on my photograpy the rest of the time.  Now that the weather is turning I'm thinking about projects I'd like to work on in my art studio.  I'm thinking about pets in mixed media.  I've come up with some ideas, and I've collected photos this past summer that I will use as reference. 

 

I photographed a wedding in June and it went smoothly.  I'm working on getting some high school senior picture work.  

 

Other than that I'm just enjoying what's left of the weather before it turns wet and cold.

 

 

Favorite TV Shows

Typically I've not been a big TV person, but my new friend is sooooo.....Big Bang Theory, got sucked in to Big Brother last summer by a friend (eewww), Two and Half Men, HGTV etc.....

Favorite Movies

My favorite movies are Oh Brother Where Art Thou and Napoleon Dynamite. I like clean, funny movies. Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Walk the Line etc.....

Favorite Books

My faves are children's books, Miss Suzy, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, We Were Tired of Living in a House. (some are from the Weekly Readers Series from the 70's). Silverteins's books, Anne of Green Gables. The Phantom Tollbooth. Other more serious, Because They Hate, Stolen Lives People of the Lie. I loved Island of the Blue Dolphins. The Deer Hunter. Edith Wharton's works.

I enjoy painting with pastels, watercolor and ink. I enjoy photography, mainly photographing babies and toddlers.
