Currently love life in the country about ten miles from Gettysburg, PA. Lived in Indianapolis for two years. Honeymooned in London, Paris, and Rome (since we knew we'd never be able to afford it later on!). Been to CT, NY, MD, TX, FL, love NC, SC. Took our GS troop on a Caribbean cruise...

- More about me

I'm an old hippie who still hasn't matured yet, probably gonna be hard of hearing really soon since I still crank up the music VERY LOUD when I'm in the car by myself. I have a great family; my husband is ten years older than me (he's the one who wants me to grow up) and I have two wonderful children that mean the world to me. Our son is 25 and our daughter is 23 and married to a wonderful guy. They inherited some of my warped humor so we get along well. I also have the cutest, red-haired granddaughter who will be 4 soon and has more brains than all of us put together. My closest friends I cherish deeply for they have always been there for me, supporting me and accepting me for the wacko I am. I'm currently not a church-goer but I have a strong faith that has gotten me through a lotta crap; and I thank Him every night for the blessings I have received.

I still work (and will probably croak at my keyboard) but whenver I have some spare time, I, of course, love doing family things. I enjoy and laugh myself silly when hanging out with my gal pals and other friends. Other things that float my boat are walking, reading, still trying to grow flowers outside that will actually live, playing piano, writing, photography, learning more about anything medical, and would really like to relearn my guitar again. ...and the beach; Carolina Beach, NC is one of my favorites ...and pizza is definitely a favorite thing, too!

- Favorite Music
-
Too much to mention but in no particular order, the Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Aerosmith, Chicago, the old hymns, Green Day, Nickelback, Grand Funk Railroad, Moody Blues, Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, "Phantom of the Opera" music, "Jesus Christ Superstar" music...how much time do you have...Chris Daughtry, Rod Stewart, and more....
- Favorite TV Shows
- Favorite Movies
-
Passion of the Christ, Titanic, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Gone with the Wind, anything with Betty Davis, Joan Crawford, or one of Alfred Hitchcock's movies (mushy chick flicks are sometimes fun, too). Across the Universe is pretty nifty, too, even if it is not the Beatles' voices...enjoy that CD, too.

Thanks, TJin, You will get a kick out of this, i think.smile...One morning two little boys came into my classroom with a pail filled with frogs. Now, I'm not a fan of frogs, Nonetheless, I had to pretend that those little creatures, my two second graders carried into the classroom were the best thing since my mom apple pie. I said to them just what is missing from todays science lesson plans. I need you two to set up the center...They did a grand job with, books, and suggested that they will draw photos of the frogs. they fed them.
that's when i knew I must cut the lesson short after a week. they did learn a lot about frogs, the many types, places where they live etc. I strongly suggested that they must be free and live where they would be happy. whew!!!
