Places I've been

I have traveled across the US and been in parts of Canada. I have drove down the entire length of the Alaskan highway and I enjoyed learning the history involved in building it. During the drive I got to spend the night in a lineman shack that was used to house men when they built the Alaskan Pipeline. I also got to camp by lakes where the waters were still frozen over and even got to fish in a few where the ice had gave way to spring. I have also traveled in many southern states and the Eastern states and was really impressed by RI, Vermont, NY, Conn, Cape Cod and Mass. During my ventures on Cape Cod I got to eat at a wonderful place called Webster's INN and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting. I traveled to NY with my daughter on two occasions and we got to see it before the bombing of the towers. As a matter of fact we stayed on one visit at the TWIN TOWERS MERRIOTT Hotel.. At other times I have visited friends in the Hamptons and got to visit many historical sites there. I could go on and on about some of the wonderful places I have seen and the special people I have met. I could say so much more, but I feel that some things are left to our memories and also space is limited; so I won't speak of meeting wolfs and other such creatures (lol) space is limited and so is my brain here lately..:-)

Who am I? That is a very good question because sometimes I wonder myself? Sometimes I am a child trapped in an adults body; Sometimes I am a senior citizen wondering where the time has gone; Sometimes I am a clown that enjoys nothing more than making people smile. Yet at other times I am so serious that I drive people crazy, because I have strong beliefs and when those beliefs are tweaked by someone I do tend to get on the band wagon. I have strong moral beliefs and I have strong conservative political beliefs. I don't try to force anyone to believe as I do, but I will give them reasons for my beliefs.

Above all of this and my most important job is the fact that I am a mother. Nothing has meant more to me than the gift of my daughter.  I am one of the wealthest people on earth because of her love. Since the first day I laid eyes on her she has been the light of my life.

I enjoy the outdoors; I like fishing, hiking and camping.  I enjoy traveling; I love my friends and family. I cry; I laugh; I sing in the shower or as I drive down the highway; I walk barefoot in the early morning dew; I play in the rain. I am a morning person and enjoy nothing better than watching a sunrise while drinking my coffee. Early mornings hold a type peace that feeds my soul.

 I am a happy person and sometimes a sad person. I don't like me when I am sad. I love deeply, dislike completely, hate cruelty and help where ever I can and who ever I can.

Who am I? I guess I am just one of many, no more no less.

I like all music.... However I guess my favorites would be Celtic, Country, Classical, show tunes and 50s, 60s, &70s Rock and Roll, Botti is a favorite also.

Favorite TV Shows

I like CSI MIAMI.. I like to watch old movies, but no real favorites..

Favorite Movies

Gone with the Wind, The Lord of the Rings, TiTanic, Mrs Doubtfire, Animal House, Second hand Lion, THE PASSION and several others.

Favorite Books

I will read anything that interest me. From history to fiction; be it 200 words or 2000. I am now reading through the Bible for my sixth time. I will start again when I get to the end.. Each time I see something new and have better understanding.

Alaska is number one for many different reasons, Rhode Island, Long Island, most of the states on the East Coast....and one lake filled state in the south...

I love all animals, but Cats hold the top seat. I also love dogs and horses.....
