Hi Fellow Boomers! I am a middle-aged (60 this year), married (for the second time), retired pastor (still on the staff of a church - part time - as minister of congregational care), artist, father of three grown children, step-father of three others (with 5 step-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren; and a new grandson and granddaughter of my own as well).

Activities

Doing stuff with my wife, painting (I create original acrylic paintings in a style I developed which I call "stained glass canvas"), photography, writing, reading, playing with my grandkids, and playing online games.

Contemporary Christian, praise and worship, easy listening, soft rock and romance. I really can't handle any music where the "singer" sounds as if he or she os screaming!!

Favorite Books

I like mysteries best of all, followed by true-to-life family fiction, humorous fiction, and well-done fantasy with a heart. (Of course, the Bible.) My favorites are by the authors listed below., John Grisham, David Baldacci, Scott Turow, Anne Tyler, Anna Quindlan, Jan Karon, J.R.Rowling, C.S.Lewis. I loved The Red Tent, and also The Lovely Bones.
