 I grew up in Brooklyn NY, but right around the time that the World Trade Center buildings were under construction we moved to Governors Island, which is right off of Manhatten.  It's a Coast Guard base, and from my windows I watched as they built these huge, magnificient buildings. 

 I was not present on that God awful day, I was sleeping that day away, for 10 years earlier I lost my mother to cancer on that same very day.  This is my rememberance to those buildings, and all of those people that lost their lives on that horrible, horrible day.  And might I add that my heart goes out to all of those touched by this insane act of violence:

Ok...30 seconds?  LOL Yeah right!

I am a 47 y/o SAHM (stay at home mome) of 3 girls, ages 20, 16 & 15.  I will soon be starting a new part time job.  I am married.  At the moment I am at a crossroads in my life..not quite the empty nester, but my 2 youngest girls don't need me quite as much as much they use to.  BUT I'm trying to get use to this. 

 I have always been interested in how the brain works, or in some, how it doesn't work. Psychiatry, psycology--the study of human behavior has always fascinated me!  The forensic side of it also fascinates me!  And, yes, I am a big forensics show buff!  >^..^<

I feel that I am down to earth.  I don't like to getting caught in so much drama--heck I get enough of that at home with three daughters.   >^..^<

What you see is what you get.  I am who I am.  I'll wear what I feel most comfortable in--at my age comfort comes first!  I set my own style.  And I'll wear my hair how I fancy each day I get up--& that may be different each day--but so what, it's my hair!!  I put on no fake airs.  Fake and phony people are a waste of my time, and they bore me.  I've been told I have a heart of gold to boot!   I've been told I'm too good natured, but hell why be a sour puss??  >^..^<

 I tend to be too 'blunt', as my oldest daughter puts it, but why beat around the bush?  Say it, get it over with--and at least people know where ya stand.  Right?  >^..^<

And lastly, I love to laugh!  Laughing, is the best medicine for me, and I don't need a glass of water to take it either!!!   At least for me, laughter is the best medicine! >^..^<

Well, not 30 seconds.....but hey, it's not like there's a 30 second cop patrolling here on eons...   >^..^<
