Lived most of my life in and around Riverside, CA. Also lived in Barstow, CA, where I worked at the army base there for 7 years, and the Marine Corps Base for 7 years. I lived a couple of years in Prescott, AZ, and now I live in East Texas, where we can see deer along side the road, racoons in the back yard, and squirrels all around, I love it!

I was born in OK, but at the age of 10 moved to Southern Ca, where I lived for the next 40+years. I lived briefly in Prescott AZ, and in Sacramento CA., than one glorious day while in CA, I received a call from my youngest daughter who was living in Texas, who told me she was pregnant! The reason this one was so special was the fact that she had been told for years that she would never be able to have children! Well I have been a widow since 96, so this granny packed up her belongings, and was "Texas Bound", this was a little over 7 years ago. On Christmas Day in 2000, my beautiful grandson was born, I cut the cord from his mommy, and tied it to my shoestring :} I live right next door to him and his mommy so I've been blessed to watch him as he grows every sep of the way! I retired from work last year, and have yet to get back on any kind of a schedule, and loving every bit of it, I feel like a kid in a candy store, or in Disney Land. I love movies, and being on the computer, but now it is for fun! I'm constantly amazed at all the information we now have at our fingertips, I came from an age were we all had a very expensive set of encylopedias, and IF we remembered were "dusted" periodically (tee-hee). I love the little town that I live in, it was like stepping back in time, God has been good to me and I'm truly appreciative.
