Places I've been

In November I traveled to Costa Rica. I've always wanted to go to a Spanish speaking country, after having gone to Spain many years ago. I had a wonderful trip and got many beautiful pictures. I have been to beaches on the Atlantic Ocean. I love the sunrises and walking on the beach early in the morning. I also love looking for seashells. I've been to Hatteras--the Outer Banks, NC and in Amelia Beach and St. Augustine Beach, FL. I've also been to San Francisco (would like to revisit); Grand Canyon; Yellowstone; Badlands; Houston area; Orlando, Washington D. C. (a favorite) and the Bahamas (for our 40th anniversary).

I have been a teacher for 34 years.  I recently retired, but I miss seeing students and staff members.  I have 3 children and 4 grandchildren, and a husband.

I am currently serving as a volunteer teaching English to Hispanic adults in a town 1/2 hour from me.

I have taught Driver Education (both behind the wheel and classroom), Health Education, and Physial Education (all grades - 4 Year Old Kdgn - 12th Grade).

My grandchildren (1 boy and 3 girls) are the love of my life now.  Grandchildren have a way of "embracing one's heart".

I still enjoy "Top 40", Nora Jones, enya, and any singers from middle to late 60's.
