More about me

I'm 48 and live in Charlotte, NC. I work in the printing business. I'm happily divorced. I have an 18-year old daughter. I love animals, and have a miniature dachschund.

I graduated from Quaker Valley H.S. in Leetsdale, Pa. in 1977. After spending a couple of years flailing about, I enrolled at the Community College of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh, and took the bus to classes for a year. The next year, I transferred to Winthrop College (now Winthrop University) in Rock Hill, S.C., where I was one of the last American college students to complete my degree in four years (LOL). My career has been up and down, and all around, but I've had lots of fun and made some money along the way. I spent 13 months in Korea teaching English (most of it during 2007), and it was something I'll remember all my life. I'm settled down pretty well in Charlotte now. I bought a townhome close to where I work and I'm happy there, but I still get the itch to take off and roam the world some more. Once you've been out there, seeing it on TV just isn't the same.

I have a 19-year old daughter (can she really be that old?), who is decidedly independent. I've invited her to come live with me, but she's holding out until she's forced to move out of her grandfather's house.
